Tequila Morning
We took a quick walk around the area before we departed for Mazatlán this morning. Tequila is justifiably famous for its namesake alcoholic beverage and there are many statues depicting various stages of its production. When we visited two years ago, we watched a demonstration of the cutting of the agave which this statue (which is just behind the sign I featured in yesterday's entry) shows. The harvest is still done by hand even today, so this statue is still very timely.
