Warming Up

This is the 15th green and by the time we got here this morning I was starting to warm up but the jumper and jacket were both still needed against the bitter east wind. Good job I do this for fun. The course is looking great with the cherry trees in blossom but it should really be in much better condition - it’s been so cold this month that the grass has hardly grown. The frostiest April ever apparently.
The clubhouse is open again so for the first time this year I enjoyed a coffee and a bacon roll while chatting away to folk. Normal service is slowly being resumed.
