Red lights

I took this photograph on my evening walk. I was quite interested in capturing the scene when all the traffic controls were red. When I was looking at the image later I was struck by the way the homes in the background almost disappear into the sky with just the window lights and the roofline to show they were there. It looks better in black and white. It was not especially late but capturing this street without traffic at this time of night remains an indication that some elements of lockdown are still in force.
