Hedgehog

We came across a hedgehog on our afternoon walk and it seemed to be in a bad way.  It was alive, but not very reactive and was lying in the open on some grass.  We had a word with one of our gardeners and he carried it round to our house where we have a hedgehog hutch in among the bushes.
The hedgehog still seemed not very well, so I fetched a saucer and some water and set this up just in front of the hedgehog house.  Then I went indoors to make a cup of tea.  I could see the hedgehog from the kitchen window and was able to watch him get up and have a drink of water from the saucer - as shown in the picture.  That must have been enough to revive him, because he then ambled off into the bushes.  
I'll keep an eye out and hopefully he will be fine.  But it has been very dry for the past couple of weeks and he may just have been dehydrated.
