The Blue Green House
Another 'slow off the mark' day, light drizzle to begin with, but ending up with sunshine. I returned to the Walled Garden after lunch and the sun came out just as I was leaving at 5pm. Typical!
It will take a hurricane to knock my runner beans down now, unless a Spitfire comes along first, of course! Only a few folk there today, so I had conversations with only two people! They're revamping an old lean-to glasshouse and the woodwork has been painted an attractive shade of blue. Someone with a sense of humour had hung up this teapot as a hanging basket. Thought it was quite amusing!
Coming back into town some poor woman had broken down and a couple of young fellas were attempting to push her out of the way. Good job she didn't see the queue behind her, stretching right into town.
Quote of the Day:
Barbara Roberts - "The very sight of a teapot puts a smile on the face of most people."
