Inaccurate cutting

You'd think that Dulux Heritage paint, at over £60 for a 5l tin, would be good enough to stick to the edges without undue effort by the painter.  Not so.

I tried wiping with a damp cloth, but the trim is so thin that I managed to smear paint that had got to the right place.  So I'll have to go around the window trim with a plastic blade when it's dry.  It was quite tiring painting a whole room, and that was only the white matt that we had decided should precede the expensive coloured stuff; I'm doing the whole room again tomorrow, two coats . . .
