Eleanor

Guinea pigs are mostly cute and timid. Eleanor is neither. She is bold, pushy, and intrepid. The adjective "insouciant" was invented just for her. She is greedy, and not a little ruthless, but I love the way she rushes into the kitchen a dozen times a day, eager for a green bean, and the insolent waggle of her departing rump on being told that she can't have any more.

"Come back" I yell after her. But she doesn't.
