Stories Coming to Life

I really enjoy when ideas I have come to life. What I mean is this...I have always wanted to learn how to play the accordion-and recently I bought one and I am learning how to play it. I have always wanted to write a kids book- and I am working on it. I am now turning one of my short stories into a play (with some help of course) and it is a great feeling.

I think so many people have so many good ideas that they should chase. I have had so many conversations lately that have started off like "I have always wanted to..." or "I always wanted to try..." and until recently I was one of those people. This journal almost didn't start because of that mentality. One of the best things I have learned so far is that we should keep learning and trying things. I hope when I am old and grey I am still saying things like "I want to learn how to..." and follow through.
