still feeding

Our male robin is still feeding his fledglings non stop and they are still staying safe under cover rarely coming out to be seen. There were originally at least 3 locations he was feeding but we now seen to be down to 2, whether 1 has been lost I don't know but it is very hard work for him. When we feed him he takes 5 meal worms at a time and makes several visits, they have quite an appetite. In the meantime the female is laying a second clutch. They are a dedicated pair.
He follows us everywhere outside, when I pulled up in the car yesterday he was on the ground as I opened the car door, they are like faithful pets at this time of year.
