From the Highlands to the sea
We decided to drive down the escarpment from the Southern Highlands to Werri Beach today for fish and chips and a walk along the beach. On the way we took a detour into one of our local quiet streets to enjoy the autumn display (top photo).
After our delicious picnic lunch we walked along the beach where it was low tide. The gulls were enjoying the exposed rocks (centre photo).
The light today was unusual because there has been a lot of hazard back burning going on to reduce the threat of bushfires. The silvery water was beautiful (bottom photo).
All in all, a lovely day.
