Raindrops On Hostas

Not quite on the list of Julie Andrews’ favourite things, but this afternoon’s heavy downpour was welcome for the garden, especially as it had the decency to wait until we had finished eating our lunchtime BBQ in the back garden with my sister and brother-in-law.

It was my brother-in-law Graeme’s 80th birthday last Sunday so we were having a belated celebratory meal. Some beer and wine may have been involved too.
