A Walk in the Woods....

...at Wolf Trap.  

Our very dear friends are in town to see their brand new grandson and we were able to meet up with them for a few hours at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts.  There is a sound installation (if you have the app and earphones) where you can walk around in the beautiful woods surrounding the Performing Arts Center and listen to beautiful music.  It was a nice idea but we were so busy talking that we didn't appreciate the music.  We will go back some time in the future just for that purpose.

After our walk, we went (are you ready for this?) a nearby restaurant and had a lovely Persian meal outdoors.  This was the first time at a restaurant since March 5, 2020.  It felt so normal. 

Mushroom update:  The blue oyster mushrooms are starting to look a bit more normal so I have loaded shot of them in the extras.
