Peekaboo

The folks next door keep hens.  From time to time we benefit from the excess eggs produced and they are a higher quality in all respects than anything we have bought in a supermarket.  They came to the fence this evening just as I was leaving the allotment, scratching away at the ground but also checking up on me.
