Modern Perch

Coming back from the supermarket and I was doing my normal thing and driving through the local countryside to see if any wildlife was around.

Before I even got to the countryside I noticed this buzzard surveying all around from the lamp post.  I stopped and was walking back towards it, hoping to get a good close up.  As ever I'd taken a couple of shots just in case.  I thought I was doing quite well in approaching unobserved, only for a huge HGV to drive passed, causing the bird to fly off.  

I should have known better!
