Anthuriums in Mauritius
Mauritius is second only to the Netherlands for World exports of the Anthurium flower. They're grown by about 150+ producers around the island in shaded greenhouses. Varieties exist in many colours, ranging from the common red to green, and even black.
What makes these flowers popular is that once seen, they're never forgotten because of their unusual shape. The name is derived from Greek anthos and oura, which means flower with a tail.
