Home Park

we were up and out before 7am heading for home park. It was lovely and quiet with only  a few people around. saw the skylark take off. Amazing birds. I always found them fascinating as a child, the way they take off and land vertically away from their nest. watched the crows enter and leave their nest in the hole in the tree. many shots before I got a decent one. then into Bushy Park for a coffee and walk round the pond. The heron was standing next to the nesting swan and there was a stand off between the heron and a coot. The coot was having a real go at him and the heron was retaliating. Then I spotted a great tit in the tree. All in All A great morning. home in time for lunch. This afternoon will be spent in the garden with more weeding being done
