Bahrain recorded 1,147 new cases, 6 fatalities and 1,400 recoveries today

ONLY eight people in the country succumbed to complications of the coronavirus (Covid-19), despite being vaccinated with both doses, it has been revealed
They were all elderly, mostly in their 70s, and were in intensive care.
A local study also revealed that the national vaccination campaign contributed to reducing infection rate by an average of 93 per cent among all age groups
The study, conducted on 631 active cases in Bahrain since January, showed that 97pc (612) of patients admitted to intensive care were not vaccinated. A total of 265 out of 273 deaths since January (97pc) were among those who did not take a vaccine.
