May Day

A productive day. Walk into town fairly early so C could get his second jag. Meanwhile I headed for the post office to hand in my application for my bus pass (officially known as the National Entitlement Card).

On the walk back there were Police on the canal bank so something was going on. We didn't hang about to find out. This little patch of blue and pink bells greeted us as we entered the park.

Got the washing machine moved back in and put to immediate use. Then some tidying up in the garden. Still cutting back frost damage. I hope things recover!

Now the rain is on so we've stopped for tea and rhubarb tarts.
