apples in the making?

Our crab apple tree is having a bumper crop of blossoms. I hope that means a bumper crop of apples in the fall, too. Last fall we did not have very many apples so I did not make my usual spiced apple butter, and I sure missed it over the winter! Although it is 81 F here this morning, we are due to have below freezing weather Monday night. Time will tell how many apples we get this fall.
