Mining museum

Went with a friend to a local mining museum where they were having a plant sale. I was hoping to get some young veggie plants but it was all  bedding plants and hanging baskets. Had a good look round the museum and it was really interesting.
We decided to go to a smallish local garden centre to see what they had. Bingo, cabbage cauli strawberries and more cucumber and tomato plants.
They have a small cafe and have put up an awning for outside seating. What a treat we had coffee with pate, salad and toast. So nice to be out.
Spent the afternoon planting and the sun was actually out for a time.
Felt good.
