Tip toeing through the bluebells

This week Gavin and I have enjoyed watching Viewpoint on ITV, a short one off drama series - however, the lead actor in the series was accused of sexual harassment and bullying this week so Sky TV and ITV have dropped all of his shows including the finale which was due to be aired last night. It was a bit frustrating not knowing how the series ended until I realised I could watch it on catch up, where it was being aired for the next 48 hours. So if anyone is watching it, you can find the final episode on the ITV hub.

This morning we were up early and Gavin, Xena and I had a run through the woods. It was another cold morning and we even had frost on our terrace. Then after breakfast we went for a walk as I wanted to show Gavin the bluebells near here. They were looking better than when I visited that spot earlier in the week - it was a lovely walk and on the way home we stopped for a coffee, where we bumped into some old friends.

We met friends for lunch at a local pub - only outside dining is allowed in terms of Covid regulations, and we had dressed warmly but it was still cold. Near the end of the lunch it started raining and got very cold - luckily we were seated under cover. However it was lovely to see our friends again and to be out socialising.

After lunch Gavin went off for another golf lesson, and I pottered about at home. He is playing golf with the boys tomorrow and I think he is determined not to lose his £10!
