Pity about the green trainers

Weather is going downhill fast. Monday and Tuesday we have rain and wind warnings.

‘E’ upstairs booked 60 million Postcards for 12:45 today. We were on the point of cancelling, but checked my weather app once more and there was a slim chance the rain cloud would pass over by then.

So Mr B and I gallantly said we would head there and phone him if we were staying. We did. And In the end the three of us had a good catch up, with Aspalls and Beyond Burgers* _ all vegan (*not for sensible Mr B).

The adorable 11 month old lurcher blipped (a whippet/Bedlington cross) was on a nearby table. Couldn’t resist a photo. Forgot to ask his name.

It rained pretty heavily on our way home.
