One man Went To Mow

Not 100% sure if this is the first farmer to mow fresh grass for his girls but certainly the first one I have seen. Farmer Müller out last afternoon and for some reason the camera didn't take a very good shot although sun was still shining.

It's cool still, but the ground is Knochentrocken, Bone Dry. We desperately need rain. According to the weather forecasters this has been the coldest April since 1977. I think typically around 16-20 Frost nights this year against a norm of 4-6. Dangerous at the moment for fruit growers. Hopefully the rain forecast Friday afternoon and for the weekend does come and although it will be cooler during the day, it will be warmer at night.
