Hill Top Ramblings

Home again

We said goodbye to Gilly, Graham and Wendy this morning and set off on the 400 mile drive back to Cumbria. It went smoothly but it did feel like a very long way.
Pepper was pleased to be home and check out the garden.
I had a quick look around and spotted something quite exciting! Some of my mistletoe berries are growing! See extra and you can see the tiny root heading into the bark of a tree, one of my apples. That’s a good sign and the beginning of a long wait to see a Berry bearing plant of my own.
The rest of the garden seems ok but still extremely dry. I think Bank Holiday Monday should sort that out!
