A mill pond..

The sea was so calm today. A sailing boat race had to be cancelled for lack of wind. We had a walk along the promenade from the harbour at Whitstable to Tankerton where we went up a level behind the chalets and were thrilled with the view. Wonderful.

We had to have an ice cream. Mine promptly slid off its cone onto the grass. I went back for another and told my story. I didn’t have to pay. How kind was that!

It’s been a great day. Crab sandwiches for lunch by the sailing club and a coffee by the craft stalls in the harbour, sitting in glorious sunshine. Big Sis came with us.

My extra is the harbour. Love the red fishing boats and reflections in the water.
