Green

I’d hoped to spend a few hours on the moor surveying Green Hairstreak butterflies, but I mis-read the weather forecast. What I thought would be a couple of light May showers turned into sustained rain squalls, so I had to retreat home.

In the occasional sunny spells I did find a few though, and some Common Heath moths (extra), so still worth the effort.
