Persistent 'fella'

Had a trip to the Douglas side of the Marine Drive.  

Getting there was delayed because the harbour bridge was up (see extra photo).  It was high tide and boats wanted to get in to their births so the bridge had to be lifted to let them in over the flap gates.

While the car was parked up when I got back from a walk, this little 'fella' came over to the car eagerly anticipating a morsel.  It stayed around for a while in the desperate hope of getting something but unfortunately went away with nothing - I've spent many an hour cleaning the deposits of these birds off the car.
