Deerberry ~ Vaccinium Stamineum

These small flowers are on a small schruby tree growing along Chapel Spring Lane where we walk in the morning. The shrub is Deerberry. I was completely unfamiliar with it before I had the Seek app and started checking everything out! I see that besides wildlife of all sorts - including deer - humans can enjoy the berries too. I'll have to remember to try them this fall. If the deer don't eat them all first...
