Mad Preparation

Holiday ‘day 1’.
Today was our 12th wedding anniversary but was spent in toil.
More than a year parked as a Road Warrior and I realise I’ve totally lost my ability to throw a few things in a bag and be travel ready. Annoying!
The fridge was full of over stocked perishables that needed cooked into freezable stuff. Then the laundry needed done, packing was taxing and some asparagus roots arrived which required unscheduled trench digging.
And I potted up lots of veg seedlings in the hope they might survive till we get back.
So much for day 1!
