In the woods

Today I have been pottering around doing some chores etc. I washed the car this afternoon and then went to the farm to see Lou and baby E. I also saw C but D was milking the cows. We walked my two collie dogs, the two farm spaniels and Basil who is L’s dog. On the lake we saw a pair of Mandarin ducks, also there is a pair of geese nesting.

This evening I went over to see B and D. We had a nice meal at their house and then B and I went for a walk in the woods. There were some bluebells and the sun was just setting, some birds were singing. Very tranquil. Now home and the dogs are snoozing and nearly time for me to go for a snooze too ;-)
