Glasses perched

I wear my glasses for driving because I have to, and I inexplicably wear them at the cinema. I very rarely put them on for watching telly, although it’s amazing how easy to read the snooker scores are when the numbers aren’t blurry-edged.

I put my glasses on for the series finale of Line of Duty, thinking they’d help with seeing all the things and with the concentration. I was so excited, but I didn’t want it to be over.

But I was left feeling empty inside.

Is that it? Is it really over?
