Bricks & Water

Pleasant walking over the weekend, following the River Severn. From near to it's source on Plynlimon mountain (750 metres) down to (Llanidloes) the first town on it's winding course through Mid Wales. Great walking over sublime rural hills and farmland. The blip was taken close to the low water level at Dolwen, near to where there used to be a railway station many years ago. There are a lot of very old bricks in the river, possibly from the railway, and they are worn smooth and with rounded edges. They crop up from time to time and here there are quite a few, colours and textures gleaming in the shallow waters of the river. Rain expected tomorrow, so just making the most of some inordinately fine weather. Back to reality tomorrow. Till the next time....
