A Walk by Lake Hawea

What a beautiful day for a walk beside Lake Hawea.  Not a cloud in the sky, and hardly a breath of wind.  When we set out it was +8C.  I didn't warm up at all, but the others were soon shedding a layer or two.  Two of us had our lunch at corner, where we had spectacular views both up and down the lake.  The extra is (1)  Walking into the sun.  (2)  The road around the bluff.

It took about an hour to drive each way.  We stopped at a local cafe on the way home for a welcome cuppa.  Home now, fire going, so nice and warm.  Seven k's or 10,000 steps.  A lovely day for walking.
