Very Annoyed Heron

Squawking with every flap of his wings.  He had been enjoying a quiet moment looking for a snack when an unusually large boat violated his space.  He took off in a huff and squawked his way down to the other end of the estuary.  Personally, I think he was out of sorts to begin with because the offending vessel, while larger than most we see on this particular waterway was making no noise at all.  There was only one gentleman in the boat, quietly fishing.  I don't know what upset the heron unless it was the thought of what would happen if the fisherman fired up the enormous engine.  I put a picture in Extra so you can see the size of the engine.  Boats that wander down the estuary rarely have engines at all -- most are canoes or kayaks.  This particular boat looked as though it were built for speed and I imagine spends most ot its time on the lake.
