Bring your own towel ... and plumbing

Here you see the expanse of fine tourist grade shingle that is Brighton beach. The warm sea before you is the English Channel, the world's busiest seaway, with over 500 ships per day and the piece de resistance is the beach showers (or am I missing something?)
It was 4 degrees C here today, sorry I am not in the mood for jollity ;-)
