SHADE GARDEN

It was so hot in the front patio for a couple of hours this morning that l had to move the plants off the table to find a shady spot. This unseasonal heat is surely linked to Global Warming.
Sirens started up early this morning , followed by helicopters. A fire had started on the mountains above Simon's Town. Fortunately it was contained after a few hours. To the SW of us thus not visible and no smoke in our area
While busy moving the plants, I found a little moist, glistening frog peeping out from under a stone in one of the pots. Fortunately our neighbour popped in and was able to take the little frog to his pond.
I appreciate the birds, butterflies, bees, lizards and geckos that share our urban container garden.
