Was the term used by Mr A to describe today’s weather. He wasn’t wrong.

We had stupidly planned to have mooch to Southport; thinking it’s flat (for the wheelchair) plus the Lord St shops are canopied so a bit less exposed.
However, once on the motorway it was clear that it really wasn’t the best day for walking about outside.

So, round the next roundabout and back towards home!
As we were out (and passing) we called at a couple of garden centres; even braving the elements to have a toastie on the terrace at one of them. The lady serving said they’ve been so busy the last few days, despite the weather. Only in England :-)
