Happy birthday to B

After watching a terrific women's football game between Chelsea and Bayern Munich I headed to Borough Market to meet up with B and her family in celebration of her birthday (and mine, belatedly).
I baked sourdough bagels for her this morning so they were still warm and smelled delicious.
We first met in September 1978 at Middle School. 

The United game was called off following a demo from irate fans. Except for the injuries to a couple of police officers,  I entirely sympathise with them. 
I managed to get home almost on time for my call with K.
