Happy Christmas

Today Adventure Girl and her mum and I had a shopping trip and I and (remotely) her granddad bought her lots of new summer clothes. It was her first grown up outing of its kind and she absolutely loved it. No restaurant lunch to follow, we went to Subway and ate in the car (there’s always next time). It was all the sweeter for having waited this long since Christmas.
The weather was awful and we have put the glazing of the greenhouse off till another day. They have also returned home despite having no central heating or hot water. We’ve lent them our electric convector heater and they have an electric shower. Hopefully the repairs will be effected soon.
