Making up the numbers

Very much a ‘record’ blip.  Our removers are bringing our furniture over from storage tomorrow and Wednesday.  In the meantime we have been gradually moving our stuff over from our rental barn so that by today we had moved nearly everything over.  The carpet people want to come in first thing in the morning to finish off as much as they can before the removers arrive, so we decided we would stay at the house tonight and sleep on our blow-up bed so we are here for them.  Even with just what we have moved in from the rental the place feels like home already.

As today has been taken up with several trips between the house and the rental (which is about five miles away) I’ve not taken any pictures so this is a quick phone shot of our new lounge.  It’s on the first floor and the staircase up to it has two turns so we are really keeping our fingers crossed that the removers will get our sofas up the stairs!  The shelving etc. on the right is one of the things the carpenter has been installing and he is finishing off the doors and shelves in his workshop to fit later.
