Meet Helen, who is a friend of a friend and now the official welcomer for guests to our Edinburgh flat! She had a trial run with us today, as we arrived for the first time direct to the flat which is now equiped with...roll of drums...wifi!!

We're here very unexpectedly as we both need our passports renewed; it would have taken 6 weeks in Barcelona using the embassy in Madrid, but only one afternoon here in Scotland. And as you have to surrender the current passport with the new application, there was really no choice but to comeback to UK. Can you imagine us without passports for 6 weeks? No, neither could we!
