Calm before the storm

Bank Holiday Monday.

Went out at around 11, before the winds really picked up. Down to the pier, back through the gardens (blipped) and up through town centre. Picked up a few goodies in Lidl. Then back home.

Been on the phone with a friend for 1½ hours. Just made dinner, stirfry of rice, cauliflower, fresh Polish yellow beans, onion and spices. And red cabbage now on the go to share with ‘E’ upstairs tomorrow.

Raining now and wind gusts due to hit 67/68 mph tonight. Windows all well shut. Hope it isn’t too noisy later. Wind Continues here until late morning tomorrow.
