Native Flora

The weather forecast for today was dire - and it proved accurate.

So with that in mind, and before breakfast as it had not yet started to rain, I took photographs of the trees and bushes surrounding our caravan.

The site we are on has been in one family ownership for 50 years. The family are very conservation minded, and the site is within an area of limestone pavement, so it’s all about native flora. All the caravans are screened from each other, and our boundary consists of yew, birch, holly, rowan, ash and - as in this image - hazel.
