Biking

After yesterdays grand birthday excitement, coupled with a late night and an early morning, we had several grumpy kids today. The blip probably reflects the mood, a respite from the dramatic scenery ;-)

The day dawned (which is when we all got up) with the most amazing sunrise. Nor'west , which fellow kiwi blippers will understand, and simply amazing clouds. I photographed them, but it was hard to do them justice.

Late morning Adam and I launched off on a bike ride from Albert town to Wanaka, along the Clutha River. It's a great (easy) ride and after a slightly grumpy start, he managed the 10.7 km very well. I then embarked on my own ride thru "sticky forest", and 20 exhausting km's later ended up at home. One of those days ? just lacked energy.

A bit of work, an early dinner, a spa, and then very early to bed. It has started to rain, might be an inside day tomorrow.
