Gate
Millie looking for the way out of the walled garden in the park.
It was raining a bit when we set off for a walk this morning; just after I took this photo the rain got a lot heavier and we all got a lot wetter.
So this was the only photo I ended up taking today.
We went out for lunch today - tapas in Helensburgh. We’re finally taking advantage of being able to travel out of our own Local Authority area - today into Argyll & Bute after Saturday’s visit to East Dunbartonshire. It’s the first time we’ve been to Helensburgh this year; we usually went every other week or so. Were surprised to find that the usual car park on the front is no longer there, due to construction work on a new leisure centre.
By this time the weather was just wild, so no stroll along the front today, just straight from car to restaurant and back again. At least we had a window seat and could be cosy inside looking out at the wildness outside!
Also first time using the new CheckInScotland app to register entry/exit times for the restaurant to tie in to NHS Scotland Test & Protect. Another way forward to our ‘new normal’.
