Geranium

While visiting my Dad today (who lives nearby) I noticed he'd got a new Geranium plant in a pot outside his front door. It's just beginning to open.

It's going to look pretty when it's fully in flower, but I was noticing the way the bright colour is just beginning to peep through the buds, and thought it might make a nice blip. He said I should wait and take a photo once the flowers have opened, but once I showed him the actual photo he agreed it was a worthwhile subject!

My Mum always used to keep Geraniums in pots. I think it's nice that Dad is doing it himself now. He bought it from Lidl apparently - good for him!
