Verity

I braved the sleet to get out of the car on the shore of Ullswater to take some shots. As many times as I've been at this point looking at Verity I have never seen anyone sailing her. She's always there, even in winter when other yachts have been hauled out of the water, so willing to be the focus of any photo.

By the time I'd taken a few more shots at the Howtown jetty my hands were aching with the cold. The warmth of my kitchen and a cup of tea were needed.
