Twelve Starlings

The nor’west arch was low over the mountains today so that the sun shone for only a couple of minutes. I loved the golden light on the hills and took a few shots. This one puzzled me because of the starlings apparently suspended in the air. The birds are perched on power lines of course, which are mostly invisible. They are more obvious in full screen.
