Samhain
Tiny Tuesday theme is Samhain (winter festival) for us down under, but freespiral suggests anything winter. Must admit I have never seen this word, or know the meaning either. I learn something everyday on Blip.
Around here trees, plants outside are loosing their greenery and seed heads have appeared, the wind is sharing those seeds around (good sort our wind). This little twig rather appealed, its elegant form with the tiny seeds fairies about to blow to pastures new. Back lit from the late afternoon sun.
This and many others are happy neighbours to the lavenders on the bank. I think freespiral will know exactly where they are. As for a Celtic twist - if you describe something as Celtic, you mean that it is connected with people and the culture of Scotland, Wales, Ireland and some other areas such as Brittany. Sooooo, at a looooong stretch freespiral, there is a Celtic connection to you and our lavender bank.
Another warm day - 20 deg.
