A happy brood

I was so pleased when these guys arrived. I ordered them weeks ago and completely forgot about that so it turned out a surprise present to myself, when I was genuinely surprised.
They are frolicking in an unmowed part of the lawn where the snowdrops used to be. I read that you are supposed to leave their leaves to die off naturally, so that is why I haven’t mowed it. The forget-me-nots are reminding me that they are also ready to colonise wherever they find a quiet place.
